At Mesa Grill, Chef Flay’s revolutionary debut restaurant, bold flavor combinations inspired by the Southwest were popularized and introduced to the mainstream. We revisit that oft-forgotten culinary landmark, and formative period, in light of the charismatic TV persona we now recognize today. With Bobby, the path to Chef celebrity - as name and stylistic cuisine - was born.
